Volvo V90 Cross Country
The Volvo V90 Cross Country starts out with the
same specifications as the original V90 wagon. However, Volvo equips this model
with standard all-wheel drive, rugged tires, added ground clearance, and some
body cladding to protect against rocks and sticks on dirt roads.
For the 2018 model year, the V90 Cross Country goes
from a single-trim model to multiple trims in its lineup, with an all-new
entry-level trim, as well as a new top-of-the-line trim. The current lineup of

rated for 250 horsepower, and the T6 models powered by a version of the same
engine that's been both supercharged and turbocharged, and offers up 316
horsepower. Regardless of trim level, both engines are paired to an eight-speed
automatic transmission.
If you love the wagon, but, you're hesitant to give
up the utility offered by an SUV, you're in luck. The Volvo V90 Cross Country
offers up some of the same capabilities as small SUVs, with a maximum cargo
storage of 54 cubic feet, and an optional power-retractable tow hitch. With the
tow hitch, this wagon can tow up to 3,500 pounds, and, without it, the towing
capacity is 1,650 pounds.
